Our Children's Ministry is committed to partnering with parents in the spiritual formation of their children.
Luke 2:52 tells us that, “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” It is our desire that every child grows up the same way.
We want kids to see that they are an integral part of God’s Big Story. We want to help them discover the active part they can play in this life-long adventure, to become more like Him.

Sunday mornings, 9:30 and 11 a.m.
In our nursery and preschool classes, leaders help our children (infants to pre-K) learn who God is through song, stories, crafts, and play.
Nursery
Infants and toddlers in McBIC’s nursery receive lots of loving care and attention. With a wide assortment of age-appropriate toys, games, books, and music, children can interact with their caregivers and peers, enjoy purposeful play, and develop their motor skills.
Preschool
Our 3- and 4-year-olds enjoy hands-on fun that helps them learn the day’s Bible story, engage in worship and prayer, and prepare to enter the classroom. Through play and storytelling, McBIC’s preschoolers have the opportunity to build relationships with their peers and leaders.
Sunday mornings, 9:30 and 11 a.m.
Elementary school students (kindergarten through 5th grade) have the opportunity to learn Bible lessons and grow in their faith through our Sunday morning small groups.
Small Group
Small groups are an opportunity for our elementary school students to learn Bible lessons in creative ways. Their dedicated small group leaders shepherd the children each week and often continue to lead the same group from year to year as the kids get older.
Large Group
All of our elementary school students gather together for large group, a time of creative and interactive Bible storytelling that becomes a springboard for dynamic and meaningful conversation during small group time.
Child Dedication
We have two Child Dedication Services a year. Once in
the Fall and once in the Winter.
Christians are to recognize everything we have belongs to God (Psalm 127:3-5). The children that are born into our homes belong to Him as well. This dedication is not the salvation of the child, but a public expression and declaration of the fact that they do belong to God, as well as a public declaration by the parents they will seek to do everything in their power, as God gives them wisdom, to see that the child grows up to respect and honor God, and to love and serve Jesus Christ as their Savior. The dedication is more than a ritual. It is a commitment of parents to honor the will and Word of God. We, the church, are here to partner with you in this commitment.
Baptism
If your child is interested in Baptism, please contact Pastor Jen as we have baptisms several times throughout the year.
