What’s Happening at McBIC
Easter Sunday (March 31) – At McBIC, we celebrate Easter with baptisms. Worship with us at 9:30 or 11 a.m. as children, teens, and adults publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ.
McBIC Men’s Breakfast – Join us for food and fellowship at our monthly men's breakfast! We meet the first Saturday of every month, 7 a.m. at Brothers Diner (705 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg). The next men’s breakfast is Saturday, April 6.
In this study, we will plan to go verse by verse in studying the book of 1 Corinthians. There will be daily readings and a few discussion questions each week.
In this women's study, join with six beloved Bible teachers (Jackie Hill Perry, Kristi McLelland, Kelly Minter, Jada Edwards, Jennifer Rothschild, and Jen Wilkin) who will help you study prayers in the Bible that can inspire your own.
This Bible study challenges men and women to see what God’s word will reveal to them through a high-level look at scriptures. This spring, we will be studying the book of Acts, beginning with chapter 13.
"The Steps to Freedom in Christ" outlines the seven steps necessary to obtain freedom in Christ Jesus. Each step provides an overview of the process for completing that step along with applicable Scripture references and activities.
Join us for a refreshing weekend of fellowship as we worship the One who will not extinguish a dimly burning flame (Isaiah 42:3).
McBIC's Last Supper event will be an opportunity for the McBIC community to gather in homes or at the church on Maundy Thursday (March 28) or Good Friday (March 29) to remember Jesus' final week, share a meal, read Scripture, and take communion together.
Led by local pastors, prayer walkers will start at one of several prayer sites and then cover the surrounding area in prayer. All participants will join together at noon at the Mechanicsburg First Church of God on the square (28 East Main Street) for closing prayer and worship. All are welcome!
In conjunction with Messiah University’s Service Day, McBIC will be hosting a work day. This is a great day to connect with others from Messiah and get a lot of projects taken care of here at the church. Lunch will be provided.
