I’m glad you chose to be our guest on Sunday at McBIC (Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church). I hope you had a good time with us and that you were able to sense God’s presence. I trust you found a warm and friendly welcome as you interacted with people.

Our desire at McBIC is to help people in our community connect with Jesus Christ. We are committed to helping children, teens, and adults, wherever they might be in their spiritual journey, grow closer to God. If you don’t have a church you call home, we’d love for you to connect with us to see if McBIC might be a good fit for you.

Every church has its own unique DNA, and our church is no different. We’re committed to making a difference in the community in which God has placed us—Mechanicsburg Borough and Upper Allen Township. We want to help make this community a great place to live. To that end, we’re intentional about establishing partnerships with community organizations and other churches. We believe that together we’re much more effective than any of us are alone. We want our church campus to be a community center for children, teens, and adults of our community.

We’re also committed to the truth of God’s Word and to heartfelt worship experiences. We’re convinced that it is only through connecting in relationship with Jesus Christ that any of us is able to realize the purpose for which God has created us. We want to see individuals experience the healing, wholeness, freedom, and purpose that Jesus Christ provides. We want to see marriages and families strengthened so that children can be raised in environments where they can grow and develop and flourish. And we want to see schools, businesses, and community organizations become places where people are respected, nurtured, and developed.

We're thankful for what God is doing in and through us, and we’re excited to see what He has in store for our future. If you’d like to receive weekly updates about what is happening in the life of our church, please email our office staff at info@mcbic.org. You’ll receive these updates via e-mail on Thursdays. I’d love the opportunity to talk to you more about our church and also to hear about your passions. Please feel free to contact me via our church office (717) 697-0682 or email at llebo@mcbic.org. I look forward to hearing from you!

In Jesus’ Love,

Layne Lebo, Senior Pastor
