Backpacks of Hope

Our Father’s Hope is a missional community at McBIC that ministers to foster and adoptive children and their families. One facet of this ministry—called Backpacks for Hope—provides backpacks filled with a variety of items for foster children as they go to their home. Eden King, a 15 year old girl who founded this initiative more than 5 years ago works with local foster organizations who give out the backpacks.  The backpack may be one of the only personal items they have to take with them.  Find the list of what is needed at this link.
