We’ll be continuing the Colossians series through May 18th.
Sunday, May 11th is Mother’s Day. If you would like to
have your child dedicated on this day please contact the
church offices at fbrown@mcbic.org or Pastor Dave Truitt
at dtruitt@mcbic.org.
On May 25th Pastor Dave Truitt and the team from KidStuf
will be leading our morning worship service. On that Sunday
(Memorial Day weekend) we have one combined 10:30 AM
worship service. There will be no other programming that
day for children, teens or adults—we will all be together
in the 10:30 AM service.
As we look ahead into 2008, I want to give you a glimpse
of some of the sermon topics we’re planning for the 1st
part of this year:

A Study of Paul’s Letter to the Philippians

June 1st we begin our summer preaching series on the
life of David, “Following God’s Heart Beat.” I’m looking
forward to learning what God has to say to us from the
life of this Biblical figure who is so prominent in the
Old and New Testaments.
