Catholic Charities Immigration and Refugee Services

In the past, we have hosted Catholic Charities here at McBIC as they have taught ESL classes to refugees. Currently those classes are taking place via Zoom. After reaching out to them, we learned of other ways that we can help as they prepare for the refugees:

Drop off the following at McBIC by Sept. 26:

  • Twin sheet sets (new or like new)

  • Full sheet sets (new or like new)

  • Large pots and pans

Other ways to help – contact Charity Stowell at (717) 704-6350

  • Donate storage space in the Harrisburg area by their facility at no or low cost

  • Donate twin bed frames

  • Donate new or like new mattresses

Volunteer – the Immigration and Refugee Services Program is always looking for volunteers.
