McBIC Worship Values

In McBIC Worship, there are multiple values and practices that are foundational to the shape and growth of our ministry. Below are the values we hope to see from those who serve in our ministry:

  • Gathered worship and lifestyle worship – Our gathered worship times are intended to be the overflow of lives already lived in worship.

  • Leadership and personal worship – We lead best through personal worship, authenticity, and prayer.

  • Being and engaging yourself – God has shaped you uniquely with specific talents and gifts. Bring your whole self—abilities and all—to Him in worship.

  • Serving your team – Individual value comes from what you add to the team—on and off the stage—rather than what you accomplish on your own.

  • Seeking vulnerability, transparency and integrity – We actively initiate and engage in the process of accountability, prayer, and care for the soul.

  • Using our gifts creatively – We seek ways to exercise our gifts creatively in worship services and in the local community.

  • Presence over performance God deserves our very best, but while we work hard to do things well, we remember that gathered worship is more about meeting with God.
